Kete Kuba
Among the Kuba tribes, the 25,000 Kete people play a significant role. They are situated along the southern border of the Kuba kingdom and live in self-governing villages under the leadership of family chiefs. The Kete people are skilled artisans, known for their exquisite carvings linked to initiation ceremonies and distinctive helmet masks akin to the iconic Bushoong Bwoon mask, featuring striking conical eyes.
